The Soul Movers began as a plan to record a single in the style of the Memphis Soul greats. The Tek - McKenzie original, Piece O' Me is a stunning accomplishment and laid the way for the album that followed. The fresh sounds caught the ear of Francisco at Munster Records who wrapped the vinyl in a classic cardboard picture sleeve.
