Real O Mind captured this on 16 tracks, mixed it down, mastered it up, and let me tell you - this is scary. Morgan and Tek share the bandleader spotlight, pretty much switching off on lead vocals depending on whose song was getting sung. The material is above first rate. The CD contains a mix of Sonic's Rendezvous Band, Hydromatics, Radio Birdman, and Deniz Tek Solo tunes. The RON comes out and the pandemonium level rises. The disc ends with a blast of 5 Stooges songs in a row. Hiawatha sings 3 of em, prowling like a maniacal black version of the Ig himself.
The performances on this album are, well, insane. Rock does not get much harder than this, folks. Morgan is well established as one of the best singers anywhere and he is right on the money here. Similarly, Tek has never sung better than on this album, period. With 3 and sometimes 4 amazing guitarists playing at the same time we were very careful about makin' sure the leads can all be heard well. Robert Gillespie in particular, is an animal here. When he blows leads, duck and cover. Taylor and Frost provide plenty of energy and on the money playing. Frost is a protégé of Mr. Rock Action of the Stooges while Taylor helped immensely in getting this project together.
